Astana hosted the X anniversary International Scientific and Practical Forum Shipazhay-2025, dedicated to the 115th anniversary of the Burabay sanatorium.

The official opening of the event began with a welcoming speech by the Minister of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan Akmaral Alnazarova.

In her speech, the Minister stressed that Kazakhstan has significant potential in the field of health improvement due to its natural, climatic and landscape features.

"Sanatorium treatment is an important component of the formation of a health culture. This is a multifaceted set of measures that directly affects the life expectancy and quality of life of our citizens," she said.

The forum brought together representatives of the sanatorium industry of Kazakhstan and foreign countries. The heads and chief doctors of sanatoriums, specialists of rehabilitation centers, and delegations from China, Germany, Russia, Belarus, Azerbaijan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, and Kyrgyzstan gathered here.

The Shipazhai Forum is an annual platform for discussing topical issues in the field of balneology, the introduction of advanced technologies and the exchange of experience between specialists.

The eventful program included conferences, seminars, master classes and an exhibition of new technologies, including Kazakh developments. The participants presented their best practices in the field of balneology, rehabilitation, climatotherapy, medical equipment, specialized nutrition and IT solutions.

The Shipazhay-2025 Anniversary Forum has confirmed its importance as a key communication platform for industry professionals and has become an important stage in promoting effective practices and sustainable development of the sanatorium system.
