On November 21, 2024, the 22nd Beijing International Medical Tourism Exhibition (CMTF), the largest medical tourism event in China, opened in Beijing.
The exhibition takes place at the China International Exhibition Center, where about 300 medical institutions and specialized centers from 60 countries and regions participate.
The event is supported by leading international organizations, embassies, as well as travel and medical associations.
Special attention at the exhibition is paid to medical tourism in Kazakhstan. The participation of Astana city in the event became part of the official Action Plan for the Year of Kazakhstani Tourism in China, approved by the Ministry of Tourism and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The delegation from Astana presented the leading medical institutions of the city, demonstrating the high potential of the capital in the field of healthcare.
The Kazakh delegation at the exhibition includes such leading institutions as the Ecomed Astana Clinic, the National Center of Neurosurgery, the Hospital of the Medical Center of the Office of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kazakhstan Association of Medical Tourism and the airline Air Astana.
Participation in the exhibition is aimed at strengthening Kazakhstan's position in the field of medical tourism and developing international cooperation in this field.
The exhibition will run until November 23, 2024.
