On the basis of the National Scientific Center for Traumatology and Orthopedics. Academician N.D. Batpenova performed 14 unique operations. The master classes took place on August 26–27, 2024 as part of the IV Congress of Traumatologists and the III Congress of the Kazakhstan Association of Orthopeda Traumatologists, uniting more than 500 participants from 15 countries.

A complex operation to correct the spine was performed on a three -year patient with congenital scoliosis. The operation required the removal of the L5-S1 half-board, which made it possible to significantly improve the patient's condition. The live broadcast of this surgical intervention attracted the attention of specialists in children's surgery of the spine from around the world.

Another operation is to restore the anatomy and functionality of the brush in the patient with improper fusion of the bones of the forearm. The use of 3D modeling and a pre-created template provided accurate and safe correction, which significantly improved the results of treatment and restoration of the patient.

Surgical intervention using the minimum invasive endoscopic methods has demonstrated new opportunities in the treatment of complex trauma cases. This technique made it possible to significantly reduce surgery and minimize the risks for the patient, providing rapid recovery.

One of the key results of the congress was the signing of a memorandum of cooperation between Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Iran, Russia, Turkey, Tajikistan and China. This document will become the basis for the further development of scientific and practical relations and joint research in the field of traumatology and orthopedics.

The IV Congress of Traumatologists and the III Congress of the Kazakhstan Association of Orthopeda Traumatologists not only demonstrated high qualifications of specialists, but also became a platform for the exchange of advanced experience, discussing the latest methods of treatment and strengthening international cooperation.
