The medical train "Salamatty Kazakhstan" continues its journey. To date, the train has covered 48 stations in six regions: Mangystau, Atyrau, Aktobe, West Kazakhstan, North Kazakhstan and Akmola.
Within the framework of the project, 32 thousand people were examined, including 10 thousand children, and more than 91 thousand medical services were provided. Among them are dental services, laboratory tests, minor surgical operations, ultrasound and X–ray examinations.
Special attention is paid to early diagnosis and timely treatment of diseases. At the moment, 1,933 patients have been identified with various diseases, including cardiovascular diseases, diabetes mellitus and diseases in children. Almost all of them, including 255 children, were taken for dynamic monitoring in polyclinics at their place of residence.
The project proved to be important not only for diagnosis, but also for emergency medical care in complex and non-standard cases. So, timely diagnosis saved the life of a patient who turned to a cardiologist at the Zhaksy station. He showed signs of a myocardial infarction, which required immediate hospitalization. Thanks to the equipment of the medical train, it was possible to quickly diagnose a dangerous condition and provide emergency assistance.
The work of the medical train continues, and by the end of the year it is planned to cover 44 more stations in 11 regions of Kazakhstan. The project team includes 14 highly specialized specialists, including pediatricians, cardiologists, radiologists, surgeons and others. All of them are aimed at ensuring that residents of the most remote corners of the country can receive the necessary medical care in a timely manner and at a high level.
Recall that the social project "Medical Train "Salamatty Kazakhstan" is being implemented within the framework of cooperation between the National Commission for Women's Affairs and Family and Demographic Policy under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Fund for the Development of social projects "Samruk-Kazyna Trust" on behalf of the Samruk-Kazyna JSC group of companies. The main goal of the project is to provide qualified medical care to residents of remote stations and increase the availability of medical services in regions with limited access to healthcare.
