In Kazakhstan, 30 thousand oncological operations are performed annually using the latest equipment
About 30 thousand oncological operations are performed annually in Kazakhstan in combination with chemoradiotherapy using video endoscopic equipment, Minister of Health Akmaral Alnazarova said at a meeting of the Human Rights Commission under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

A nuclear medicine center has been opened in Semey, where radionuclide therapy has been introduced for the first time in Kazakhstan.
Innovative 3-D prosthetics has been successfully applied in bone oncopathology.
Every year, more than 12 thousand patients receive radiation therapy (tomotherapy, stereotaxis, IMRT, IGRT).

According to the results of 7 months of 2024, compared with the same period last year, mortality from malignant neoplasms in the Republic of Kazakhstan decreased by 3.2%. The country also provides medical rehabilitation to patients in 7 profiles: cardiology, cardiac surgery, neuropathology, neurosurgery, traumatology, orthopedics. Since 2024, rehabilitation of patients with malignant neoplasms has been introduced.

In total, 208 thousand patients underwent medical rehabilitation in 2023.
