The Minister of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan Akmaral Alnazarova met with the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of France in the Republic of Kazakhstan Silvan Gioge.

The parties discussed the key aspects of bilateral cooperation in the field of healthcare and agreed to implement new partner projects aimed at improving the health of the population of the two countries.

Particular attention is paid to improving the availability and quality of medical services in Kazakhstan, especially in rural areas where the national project “Modernization of rural healthcare” is being implemented as part of the instructions of the head of state.

“France is our important partner in the field of healthcare. We strive to develop bilateral relations on a long -term basis, and today's meeting opens up new opportunities for joint projects, ”said Akmaral Alnazarova.

The head of the department proposed to support the signing of the memorandum on the creation of the Coalition of the PMSP and the roadmap to activate the Kazakh-French cooperation in healthcare until 2026.

To date, cooperation between the two countries is developing within the framework of 11 agreements and declarations signed during the state visit of French President Emmanuel Macron to Kazakhstan in November 2023.
