National Scientific Center for Traumatology and Orthopedics named after Academician N.D. Batpenova reached a new level of medical care, introducing a complex of medical instruments - from microsurgical systems to robotic complexes. New equipment will allow conducting operations with high accuracy and minimal invasiveness, reduce patient rehabilitation time and reduce the risk of complications.
The modernization of the center became possible thanks to the support of Samruk-Kazyna JSC, which allocated about 400 million tenge for the purchase of equipment. One of the key new products was the Mast Quadrant surgical retractor, first used in Kazakhstan. It will allow performing operations on the spine with high accuracy, minimizing soft tissue injuries and ensuring the rapid restoration of patients.
“Thanks to the support of partners such as“ Samruk-Kazyna ”, Kazakhstan continues to actively introduce the latest technologies in medicine, making them available not only for the capital, but also for regional medical centers,” said Yerzhan Nurlybaev vice-minister.
The introduction of these systems is not just a technological breakthrough, but also a step towards improving the quality of life of thousands of Kazakhstanis.
“This is an investment in the health of the nation. New equipment will significantly increase the level of medical care, especially for patients with diseases of the musculoskeletal system, ”said the head of the Nurlan Zhakupov Foundation.
It should be noted that in the framework of corporate social responsibility, the Fund also supports the modernization of such medical institutions as the National Coordinating Center for Emergency Medicine and a network of rehabilitation centers in the regions of the country.
