As part of the SCO's activities to strengthen cooperation between Kazakhstan and China, the Chinese delegation paid an introductory visit to the National Cancer Research Center and the National Scientific Medical Center. On July 17, representatives of the First Hospital at Xi'an Jiaotong University visited the cancer center. The meeting was held by the Deputy Chairman of the Board for Medical Activities A.Mukazhanov. Also present at the meeting with Chinese colleagues were Professor T.Adylkhanov and Head of the Center for Multidisciplinary Therapy with Rehabilitation T.Uskenbayev.
During the visit, the Chinese side presented the activities of the University Clinic, noting that it is a large medical complex with a wide range of services, including hepatopacreatobiliary surgery, cardiology and transplantation. The clinic holds a leading position in the field of liver and kidney transplantation in China.
In turn, the leadership of the NNOC familiarized Chinese colleagues with the activities of its center, the volume of medical care provided and talked about the construction of a new cancer center. It was noted that the two clinics have a lot of common strategic directions for further bilateral cooperation.
A delegation from the Chinese Federation of the Disabled and the Chinese Rehabilitation Research Center also visited the National Scientific Medical Center. The visit was held within the framework of the theme "Deepening international cooperation and jointly improving the health and well-being of people with disabilities."
The doctors of the NNMC heard reports and spoke on this topic, and the head of the department of rehabilitation treatment, Rosa Safarova, spoke about the European and Chinese methods used at the center.
