To develop the direction of medical tourism and improve the hospitality of the capital, the Akimat of Astana city, represented by the Department for Investment and Business Development, organized a training course on "Medical Marketing" on May 31 with the involvement of an international coach. The main goal of the course was to assist the city's clinics in improving the quality of medical services in terms of service, as well as for the development and promotion of marketing of the city's clinics, both on the domestic market and internationally.
Alexander Zakharenko, an international coach, was invited as a speaker.
The course examined PR strategies relevant specifically for medical organizations, the formation of package services, ways to attract foreign patients, work with reviews, practical cases on medical tourism.
The event was attended by 100 people from medical organizations in Astana: namely, specialists in PR and marketing, hospital and nursing services, specialists in working with foreign patients, employees of international departments, as well as scientific work, planning and analytics.
The participants had a unique opportunity not only to master theoretical knowledge, but also to put it into practice through a variety of game tasks, which helped them consolidate and hone their skills in business.
At the end of the course, all participants were awarded certificates of successful completion of their studies.
