On September 14, 2024, the open door day for blood diseases, hematopoietic and lymphatic systems will be held in NNOC.

In the period from August to September, a number of events will be held as part of the Red September campaign, dedicated to World Bone Marrow Donor, World Day with chronic myeloid leukemia, World Combating Lukemia. A series of events is aimed at drawing attention to the problems of patients with leukemia (malignant disease of the hematopoietic system).

Every year, about 2,000 people are ill with malignant neoplasms of blood and hematopoietic organs. In the dispensary, more than 12,000 patients with oncgetological pathology are accounting for hematologists of Kazakhstan.

Symptoms of leukemia may include fatigue, constant fever, infections, increased lymph nodes, bone pain, weight loss, loss of appetite, tendency to bleeding, the appearance of bruises or red spots on the skin. Symptoms of blood cancer can vary depending on the type and stage of leukemia and influence the general health of the patient.
